Rabbit Now I like Type O Negative too, but Tiamat's lightning-in-a-bottle masterwork here easily takes the crown for the best Gothic metal album! Wildhoney's sound is best described as a witch's brew of Sabbath-esque Doom metal, Floydian Psychedelia and Dead Can Dance-like Darkwave offered in a sort-of triptych. And it reeks of inspiration and reverence for Mother Earth!

Clouds and Slumber, the preceding and successor albums, are also worth checking out too btw, but Tiamat were never this good again.
