sachavonkarl74 I will stick to my review of "Where Shadows Forever Reign", i.e. the Opus Magnum of Dark Funeral. This one here may appeal to black metal newbies, but if you are a fan of early D.F. this may come a bit as a disappointment. It was NOT my case, I kinda like this one for its variety, there are still plenty of D.F. classic moments, but if you are looking to find the raw, mean, fast and aggressive D.F. of "Vobiscus Satanas", check the older D.F. albums in the Century Media catalogue first. Favorite track: Beyond The Grave.

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf
