sachavonkarl74 A good, solid, dark & melodic power metal album, nothing upper-lifting or transcendental, but a very pleasant album reminiscent of some German bands dominating the power metal scene, which often is what one needs to enjoy. Fans of Powerwolf, Gamma Ray, Sabaton, Warkings, etc. will likely enjoy Nocturnal Rites' Shadowland. Like for Sabaton and Powerwolf, Nocturnal Rites' vocalist Lindqvist is great and his performance adds a lot to all ten tracks! Favorite track: Vengeance.

I really cant pick a favorite track, this whole album kicks so much ass with its intensity and ferocity from beginning to end. Definitely a new favorite artist. Really gives off Necrophobic vibes with the melodies and atmosphere. Andrés Salas

Swiss Melodic Black / Death Metal. I never wrote anything about this & given that I listen to it time & again, I really should! This is incredibly technical & amazingy good! I am having multiple eargasms & goosebumps for the entire duration of the album! Plus they have a new album coming out in a couple of months that I cannot wait for! A criminally underrated band... The "Cult..." is UADA's sophomore album, and among all, the one I largely prefer. The Vocal performance, to start with, is truly outstanding, and while I really liked their debut album, this one is more varied, and overall is technically superior to anything else I've heard from UADA. Fast, aggressive, but with enchanting melodies to break in between, à la Dissection. Highly recommended! sachavonkarl74
