Formed out of the ashes of Seattle power/thrash metal outfit Sanctuary, who split up after their second album "Into The Mirror Black", Nevermore picked up with Sanctuary members Warrel Dane, Jim Sheppard and Jeff Loomis, and forged a new path with the creation of Nevermore. This release was not intended to be a debut album, but the band had recorded two separate demo sessions with producer Neil Kernon (who also produced the likes of Queensryche "Rage For Order"). Tracks were chosen from the two demo tapes, re-sequenced and remastered, and released as the band's debut offering in early 1995. This special version of the album features five additional demo tracks from those two sessions which were not included on the original release.
